1. Application
Periodic vacuum induction smelting ingot casting furnace is the production of melting iron-based, nickel-based alloys or other metal alloys by induction heating in a vacuum or inert gas environment, and pouring into a water-cooled vertical mold through a tilting system to cool and form alloy ingots. Use melting equipment.
This electric furnace is a vertical semi-continuous three-chamber furnace, namely: charging chamber (turret), smelting chamber, and ingot mold chamber.
The charging chamber is used to add charge into the furnace. The smelting chamber is to complete induction smelting, mold shell insulation, and casting molding. The ingot mold chamber is a passage for the ingot mold to enter and exit. The smelting chamber and the ingot mold chamber are separated by a vacuum two-way sealed plug-in valve. The lifting of the ingot mold adopts a hydraulic lifting mechanism.
Before casting, the ingot mold lifting mechanism pushes the baked mold shell of the roasting furnace into the mold holding furnace in the melting chamber, and the molten metal is poured into the mold shell to form a casting. The ingot mold lifting mechanism is lowered to the mold room and the melting chamber. The flap valve between the mold chamber and the ingot mold chamber is closed, and the furnace door of the mold chamber is opened to remove the castings. During the whole production process, the smelting chamber is always kept in a vacuum state. This structure has many advantages. The smelting crucible is not oxidized, which saves vacuuming time and improves work efficiency.
